Talks to Groups

I am regularly invited to give talks to textile or gardening groups where people enjoy my descriptions of my accidental journey into botanical eco printing, subsequent captivation by it, and explanations of the natural magic involved in the printing processes. It’s wonderful to hear the gasps of delight and surprise at images of prints made with plants from my garden.

If you've a group or an event where the audience may have interest in learning about my journey and experience with Botanical Printing – it could be a talk in advance of a workshop, or to a group with general interest surrounding the topic. Just get in touch and I'd be really happy to discuss the options.

  • Mega Stitchers, Manchester  [February 2023]

What people have said about my talks

"We all enjoyed listening to the super talented and lovely guest speaker yesterday at Bridge Quilters community sewing group. She was amazing and so inspiring and informative. Thank you Maggie." [Bridge Quilters, April 2025]

"I would just like to thank you for a very interesting and inspiring talk at our meeting." [Malpas Fabric Arts Group, March 2025]

"I thought [Maggie's] presentation was well considered and I liked how Maggie had broken it down into sections.  It helped me understand the process a little better.  The information given was very useful to any one wishing to give it a go especially as to how the mordants work and what colours certain leaves dye the cloth." [Ashbourne Creative Stitchers, November 2024].
