In-Person Workshops: Explore Nature's Beauty and Artistry

My in-person workshops offer a unique opportunity to dive into printing with the natural botanical world in a hands-on and immersive environment. My workshops are designed to introduce participants to the techniques and processes involved in creating exquisite art using plants and natural materials. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, these workshops cater to all skill levels.

I love teaching people about the secrets of our beautiful world and how we can sustainably use nature to create art. I promote love and respect for our surroundings, working to make products from natural materials only. In my workshops, we use recycled materials where possible, and any new materials are sourced from reputable suppliers renowned for their ethical and sustainable practices and sources.

 Comments on my bespoke workshops:

I had a fabulous couple of days exploring the exciting and addictive world of eco printing on fabric and paper with Maggie. Using fresh spring leaves from her garden we worked through a good range of the basics of various techniques and had time to develop our own interests as well. I have some lovely results to use for textile work and bookbinding. Particular successes were prints from the leaves of tree peonies, eucalyptus and horse chestnut.

I much appreciated Maggie’s experienced, enquiring and inspiring approach to eco printing; wanting to share the how and why of things worked (and, occasionally, why something did not work). It was great to learn from all our experiences so I could be confident in doing further eco printing successfully at home.

This was a well paced course developed for and responsive to the two of us. Maggie worked with my friend and I to prepare well, then responded to our respective interests, skills and learning styles in an open, generous and well informed way.

I appreciated Maggie's kind hospitality too, it was great to be looked after while I concentrated on learning this fascinating skill. [Helen]
