WORKSHOP: Printing with Onion Skins and Eucalyptus, Sunday, April 12th 2026, 12.30-4.30pm

Sunday, April 12th 2026, 12.30-4.30pm at my home in south Liverpool [address will be supplied after booking]

Discover and explore the colourful secrets of the humble onion skin [brown or red] and elegant eucalyptus in this half day workshop in which you will learn how to dye and print fabric with onion skins and eucalyptus leaves. You'll be able to print or dye one scarf [silk or wool], with the opportunity to print or dye more if you wish.

You'll learn how to extract dye from onion skins, and how to print with plant matter. You'll learn some Japanese shibori techniques to create beautiful patterns on your dyed cloth. You'll also learn how to modify the colour of onion skin dye with metal salts.

And after the workshop, you'll be able to create more beautiful items at home!

Workshop fee of £55 includes one silk or wool scarf to print. More scarves to print can be purchased if required.
