Mohair and Wool scarf with Onion Skins [SC283]

Wonderfully soft mohair [70%] and  wool [30%]  scarf hand printed with onion skins in a dye bath of eucalyptus, onions kins and vinegar. During this process of botanical contact printing, the plant pigments transfer to the mohiar/wool, which takes up the pigments beautifully [SC283].

A wonderful scarf which is soft and supple, and will snuggle in to your neck nicely on chilly winter days and evenings. The scarf was woven by Cushendale, a family firm in Ireland.
